Diva's Beautiful Orchestra

The Diva! herself, vocalist Samantha Jean, has been singing since childhood. She’s sung in classical choirs, musicals, pop and rock bands in the West End, at The Royal Festival Hall and at venues all over southern England. She’s shared a stage with “Heatwave” and has acted at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, Kent and at Eltham's Bob Hope Theatre in South East London. Until December 2006, she fronted a covers band and also performs as a solo artiste. Occasionally she DJ's in pubs and for private functions and also hosts karaoke evenings - for which she is currently receiving therapy.

She's been a presenter/producer for both BBC radio and television and also at several independent radio stations across the South East and received a Sony Award nomination at the age of 17.

Her mic is an AKG UHF wireless system; her PA comprises an astonishingly powerful FBT Pickup 8A 200w mixer/amp and a pair of OHM220 3-way speakers. Sam's vocal chords are lovingly soothed with Nigroids or Vocalzones throat pastilles and a pint or three of room-temperature water.

She loves sushi, dolphins and cats, her favourite TV programme is CSI:Vegas, she plays darts for her local pub, and still sleeps with her favourite stuffed toy. She also has a pet Tortoiseshell cat called Lucky.
